Thank you for buying this album. Your purchase goes a long way in supporting roots and independent music. This new cd is completely different from our two other CDs. Both previous albums were instrumental and primarily original music. In our live show we love to sing and play a mixture of covers and traditional numbers in addition to our originals. Our fans have often asked us where they could get a copy of some of the other songs we perform on stage, so we decided to record a new album for them featuring some of the music we play in concert. All the tracks on this cd are covers and traditional music, no original material.
We have a lot of musical friends and in the past we invited some of them to record with us, but we didn’t invite any special guests this time. We wanted to offer a CD that was representative of our live concerts- no overdubbing or separate tracks, just live music!
“BBB Set List” was recorded in three days, each track with no more than two and three takes. We tried to capture the energy of our live music shows, and we hope you enjoy!
